Yesterday, on September 26, 2023, at approximately 2:18 p.m., a 27-year-old man became yet another victim of gun violence in Chicago's Brighton Park neighborhood.
The man was approached by an unknown vehicle, and an occupant from within produced a handgun and fired shots, striking him in the chest.
The victim was transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital initially reported in critical condition, but unfortunately, he did not survive the incident.
As of now, no suspects have been taken into custody, and area detectives are investigating the case according to the Chicago Police Department.
