
Yesterday, September 28, a 51-year-old man fell victim to gunfire in the South Ellis neighborhood of Chicago.
The incident took place on the 4600 block of S. Ellis at around 8:09 p.m., where a known male assailant approached the victim, who was seated in a parked vehicle, and opened fire according to the Chicago Police Department.
The victim sustained a graze wound to the right arm and, intriguingly, refused on-scene EMS assistance.
As of now, no one has been arrested, and police investigators from Area One continue to unravel the details of this case.
