
A 34-year-old man became yet another victim in the long line of armed robberies. According to a Chicago Police Department report, the incident unfolded in East 104th Street yesterday evening, September 27.
Walking alone, the man was approached by two unknown male assailants, armed with a knife and a firearm, who demanded his property. In the ensuing chaos, as the victim attempted to flee, one perpetrator stabbed him in the back while the other fired shots, missing their mark.
Despite his injuries, there is a measure of fortune for the victim in that immediate medical treatment was available.
As reported by the Chicago Police Department, the injured man was quickly transported and admitted to Christ Hospital in stable condition. Presently, no arrests have been made, and the case is being investigated by Area Two Detectives.
