Earlier today, a 35-year-old woman in Chicago found herself caught in the crossfire of a terrifying act of gun violence.
As reported by the Chicago Police, an unknown vehicle pulled up alongside the woman on the 6300 block of S. Albany and someone within fired in her direction.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was shot twice and was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center where she remains in stable condition.
Thus far, no arrests have been made and Area One detectives are actively investigating this harrowing incident.
