On August 24th, 2023, at approximately 9:07 p.m., a Chicago woman riding a CTA bus experienced an ordeal that continues to unsettle an already uneasy city. According to the Chicago Police Department, four individuals, a male and three females, allegedly boarded the bus and began to batter the unsuspecting passenger. As a result, the victim was deprived of her cellphone before the assailants fled from the scene.
In an urgent effort to identify the suspects, law enforcement officials have requested help from the public. The male and three females are described as being approximately 23 to 33 years of age. With little more to go on, calls for our diligence in seeking them out become all the more pressing.
