Today, the name of the 600th fallen officer, Arѐanah M. Preston, was engraved into the Gold Star Memorial Park Wall in Chicago.

The memorial is dedicated to the men and women who have given their lives in service to the city and serves as a solemn reminder of both the honor and the immense sacrifice embedded in the role they chose to undertake.

Each name represents a unique story of service, bravery, and integrity; holding a mirror to our society and reflecting the challenges law enforcement officials face daily.

This milestone, etched in the Gold Star Memorial Park Wall, is a tribute to those who served with honor and paid the ultimate sacrifice.
