Officers in Dorchester found several explosive devices, ammunition, and weapons in the home of Thomas Graham, 37, after responding to a call on earlier this week according to the Boston Police Department.
The officers initially responded to a radio call that resulted in the arrest of Graham. Upon further investigation, officers observed a live flashbang in plain sight in Graham's residence. After obtaining a search warrant, detectives uncovered four flashbang devices, several ammunition clips, loose rounds of 9mm ammunition, and brass knuckles.
Additionally, several army-style knives and gun cleaning kits were also recovered from the apartment.
Graham, who now faces charges of illegal possession of an explosive device, is expected to be arraigned at Dorchester District Court. While it is yet unclear what prompted such an assortment of weaponry at his residence, the incident serves as a somber reminder of the potential dangers lurking in seemingly ordinary homes within our communities.
