Earlier today, a CTA bus collided with a pole near the Pulaski Orange Line station, injuring multiple passengers.
The accident, which occurred at around 9:20 a.m., left two people seriously injured, as they were rushed to Mt. Sinai hospital for treatment according to WGN-TV.
Reports indicate that there were approximately 20 passengers on board the bus at the time of the incident.
In addition to the two individuals in serious condition, one person was transported in fair condition, and eight others suffered minor injuries, being transported in good condition.
Thankfully, all roads in the vicinity have since reopened, allowing for a steady flow of traffic once again.
