
An incident along the 2200 block of N. Central caused a disruption in the lives of its residents yesterday.
On Sunday, September 24, at approximately 4:50 p.m., a 49-year-old man was inside his residence when an abrupt hail of bullets penetrated his home and struck him in the leg, leaving the man temporarily wounded.
According to Chicago police, the offender was identified as a known individual, and charges are currently pending.
The 49-year-old victim was quickly transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he was initially reported to be in good condition.
