Disturbing Revelations Emerge as Mother Indicted for Strangling Her Three Children Near PlymouthSource: Facebook/ lindsay clancy

32-year-old Lindsay Clancy now faces indictment on charges of murder and strangulation in the deaths of her three young children. Following the horrendous acts in January this year, the case now moves to superior court as more disturbing details emerge about the victims and their harrowing final moments.

On January 24th, the three children—five-year-old Cora, three-year-old Dawson, and eight-month-old Callan—were found by first responders in the basement of their Summer Street home with exercise bands used as ligatures around their necks.

Investigators determined that Lindsay Clancy had used these exercise bands to strangle her children before attempting to take her own life by jumping out of a window. After a 911 call for a suspected attempted suicide, emergency personnel arrived on the scene and treated Clancy, who was then transported to a local hospital. Meanwhile, the children were taken to different hospitals, where tragically, their lives came to an abrupt, unsettling end.

Although an arrest warrant was executed for Lindsay Clancy while she was recovering in the hospital, Boston.com states that she was later committed to Tewksbury Hospital for mental health care. The recent indictment means that Clancy is now facing three counts each of murder and strangulation. Per NBC Boston, her defense attorney claims that an overmedication of prescription psychiatric drugs led to homicidal and suicidal ideation.
