In the early hours of September 5th, 2023, a strong-arm robbery occurred aboard a Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) bus.
According to the Chicago Police Department, the victim boarded the bus at the 95th St Redline terminal around 2:00 a.m. and took a seat at the back.
The bus ride took a perilous turn when two unidentified African American males, aged between 25 and 35, approached the victim without warning.
One of the suspects brutally battered the victim while the other forcibly took the belongings. The assailants then made their escape, leaving the traumatized passenger behind.
As reported by the Chicago Police Department, their Mass Transit Detectives are fervently seeking the public's assistance in identifying the culprits responsible for this heinous crime.
With the suspects still at large, it is imperative that individuals remain vigilant and report any potential information related to this incident to the authorities.
