A 55-year-old woman fell victim to a drive-by shooting in the Little Village neighborhood.
According to CBS News, the shooting occurred around 5:20 a.m. this morning.
The woman was outside in the 2600 block of West 24th Street when a blue sedan drove past her, with someone from within the vehicle firing shots in her direction. The victim was struck once in the right leg and was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital, fortunately in good condition.
As of now, no one is in custody, and Area Four Detectives are working to investigate the case.
