Earlier this week, 86-year-old Charles Hobson Sr. suffered a tragic and untimely death when thieves shot him and stole his truck outside his Auburn Gresham home. In a chilling turn of events, witnesses claim the assailants returned to the scene with the stolen vehicle while the police were still present.
According to neighbor Kimberly Buford, Charles had simply stepped out to retrieve something from his truck before being gunned down, the tragedy unfolded too quickly for anyone to effectively intervene. The culprits ventured back with the stolen truck while police were investigating the scene, allegedly in an attempt to return to Hobson's home according to ABC7 Chicago
