
A 70-year-old pedestrian was left with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in the Redwood Village area of San Diego yesterday. According to 10 News, the elderly man was crossing Streamview Drive in a marked crosswalk when a dark-colored sedan made a left turn and struck him. The driver then fled the scene, leaving the injured man behind with a brain bleed, a fractured left wrist and thumb.
As reported on Fox 5 San Diego, San Diego Police Department is currently investigating the disturbing incident as a felony hit-and-run.
While the traffic division searches for information related to the driver of the dark sedan, they are also calling for public assistance.
