
An alarming incident of aggravated assault and robbery transpired last month August 12, leaving the Boston Police Department (BPD) in desperate need for information from the public. By extending their hands to the public, the BPD seeks to put an end to such heinous crimes in their area.
According to the official BPD report, detectives assigned to District B-2 in Roxbury desperately request the public's help to identify an individual suspected in the incident. The suspect, a female with brown hair and highlights, was last seen wearing a multicolor floral print dress and carrying a purse. She is believed to frequent the Atkinson Street area.
The BPD is actively pursing, the circumstances surrounding the crime and urges anyone with information to contact the District B-2 Detectives at (617) 343-4275. To remain anonymous, community members can call the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1 (800) 494-TIPS or send a text with the word ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463). The BPD has assured that they would stringently guard and protect the identities of those who wish to remain anonymous while helping in this investigation.
