Yesterday, September 26, a young man's life was abruptly and tragically cut short. In the 6200 block of S. Artesian, at approximately 9:10 p.m., a 23-year-old male was found in the gangway of a residence with a gunshot wound to the chest.
He was transported to Christ in critical condition, but the efforts to save him were in vain; he succumbed to his injury.
Investigators are diligently working to shed light on the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
Though no one is in custody at this time, Area One detectives continue to unravel the threads of this complex case.
