33-year-old Gregory Mulkey allegedly opened fire in the 3700 block of West Leland Avenue, injuring a 20-year-old female victim on Friday.
Mere minutes after the tragic event transpired, the Chicago Police Department apprehended Mulkey at around 5:04 p.m. accoridng to their news release.
Mulkey faces one felony count of aggravated battery involving the discharge of a firearm, two more felony counts relating to possession of a controlled substance, and charges for both possessing a firearm and ammunition without valid permits.
His appearance in Central Bond Court took place yesterday as per the Chicago Police Department.
