On Thursday, September 7th, the Chicago Police Department (CPD) reported the arrest of a 16-year-old male juvenile in connection with a brazen armed robbery that took place earlier this year on May 3.
The arrest came after a months-long investigation that eventually led officers to the 4900 block of W. Adams St.
The young suspect stands accused of committing armed robbery in the Irving Park neighborhood where according to the CPD, he robbed a 46-year-old woman at gunpoint around 2:29 in the morning.
The CPD's charge release states that the juvenile offender faces one felony count of robbery with a firearm. No additional information was made available regarding the circumstances surrounding the arrest or the suspect's motives.
