The Ware Police Department has called upon the community to aid in identifying a male suspect involved in a recent confrontation at a local Walmart. According to the police department's Facebook post from yesterday, September 15, the suspect brandished a knife at the store's manager after being stopped by Walmart's Asset Protection on September 14th.
The incident took place around 8:30 PM, with the male party leaving the scene on foot.
Authorities are now urging anyone who might recognize the individual to come forward, and have prompted the public to leave an anonymous tip with Ware PD at 413-967-3571 or email [email protected].
The police department has also indicated that better-quality images of the suspect will be released later today, potentially increasing the chances of successful identification.
