A bicyclist found themselves fighting for survival following a vehicular collision in Dorchester earlier today.

The incident, which took place around 9:40 a.m. near 1224 Dorchester Ave, resulted in the cyclist suffering life-threatening injuries, according to WHDH.
The Boston Police Department issued a traffic advisoryr cautioning locals to steer clear of 1200 Dorchester Avenue and Hancock Street as the area was to remain closed until further notice.
