The Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section (VFAS) arrested 27 suspects wanted for a range of serious crimes from September 1 to 7.
These individuals, many of whom were actively attempting to evade capture, were wanted on warrants for offenses such as rape, armed robbery, indecent assault and battery on a minor, among others according to the MSP.
This feat underscores the tireless efforts of law enforcement officers to keep communities safe through collaboration and persistence. In addition to the many arrests during this span of time, MSP troopers executed six search warrants to further ongoing investigations.
Among the individuals captured were those wanted for assaults, including battery with a dangerous weapon, and violence against vulnerable populations such as pregnant victims and individuals over 60 years of age as reported by the MSP.
