A woman and two young teenagers were arrested for allegedly pilfering thousands of dollars in merchandise from the Oakbrook Center Macy's store. Florica Nicolae-Dirivan, 46, has been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, burglary, and retail theft, while the two teenagers, aged 14 and 15, face charges of burglary and retail theft, according to the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office cited in a CBS News Chicago article.

Nicolae-Dirivan's bond at Tuesday's court appearance was set at $10,000 with a 10% requirement, while the girls were released to the custody of their father after a detention hearing.

The incident took place at approximately 6:15 p.m. on Monday when Oak Brook Police Department officers responded to a retail theft call at the Macy's department store. Allegedly, Nicolae-Dirivan entered the store with the two girls and would point to items she was interested in, prompting the girls to retrieve the items and stash them in bags hidden beneath one of the girl's dresses, as reported by a Patch.com article.

Aware of the alleged scheme unfolding, officers waited for the suspects outside the store where they were promptly arrested upon exiting.

Nicolae-Dirivan is due back in court on October 2nd, while the girls' next court appearance is scheduled for October 26th.
