Reports of a tragic overnight accident in Milton, New Hampshire are emerging. According to New Hampshire State Police (NHSP), at approximately 1:34 a.m. today, a pickup truck drove the wrong way along the Spaulding Turnpike Exit 18 Northbound on-ramp, veered off the road, and came to the rest within the woods. The driver, identified as Michael Riley, age 55, from Sanbornville, NH, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
While an official conclusion is still under investigation, initial findings seem to suggest that a medical emergency played a part in this devastating event. Addressing the accident, WMUR revealed that there were no passengers or other vehicles involved.
The vehicle involved was a 2022 white GMC Sierra 2500.
