Earlier this week, a 30-year-old male lost his life, and a 31-year-old female was left in critical condition.
The suspect, Jacob Johnson, a 29-year-old from the same block of S. Prairie Ave, was arrested and charged with murder and attempted murder, according to the Chicago Police Department.
It was reported that the incident happened less than an hour before the arrest took place in the same area of the shooting.
Johnson is now facing one felony count of first-degree murder and another for attempted murder as stated by the Chicago Police.
