Male juveniles, both aged 17, have been apprehended and charged with aggravated vehicular hijacking and armed robbery.
According to the Chicago Police Department, these juvenile offenders were arrested yesterday, September 14, at about 5:53 p.m., in the 11300 and 11400 blocks of S. Calumet Ave.
Authorities identified these young men as the ones responsible for committing a carjacking and robbery at gunpoint – crimes that occurred just under 20 minutes earlier.
Their victim, a 28-year-old male, was targeted in the 11800 block of S. Lafayette Ave. (5th District).
