On August 22, on the 400 block of Carvalos Drive in Bonita, while the residents of the home were unaware, a grand larceny, one involving two Hermes multi-colored blankets valued at $5,000 each, was unfolding under their very nose, as stated by the San Diego County Sheriff's Office.
The alleged thief navigated through the premises and committed the crime in broad daylight. Surveillance cameras captured footage of him and his peculiar getaway vehicle. A Chrysler 200 convertible, with aftermarket rims.
Now, the investigators of the Imperial Beach Sheriff's Substation and San Diego County Crime Stoppers turn to the public, asking for help to identify and track down this person. The suspect is described as a white male aged between 25 and 35 years, standing approximately 6 feet tall, and weighing in the region of 250 to 300 pounds. His attire on that day included a black baseball cap, black sunglasses, a white t-shirt, blue cargo pants, and black shoes with white trim.
