
Yesterday, around 11:45 PM, police officers in El Cajon received an automated license plate reading (ALPR) alert regarding a stolen vehicle, ultimately leading to the arrest of Aaron Taylor, a 48-year-old participant of the County Equus homeless voucher program.
According to a statement by the El Cajon Police Department, the 2020 Kia Optima was located in the parking lot of the Relax Inn & Suites, with Taylor found inside, possessing methamphetamine.
As per the official statement, Aaron Taylor was staying at the Relax Inn & Suites as part of the County Equus homeless voucher program. The program aims to provide temporary housing for the homeless, with the intention of assisting them in getting back on their feet and reintegrating into society.
