In the urban neighborhood of Chicago's Shakespeare District, or the 14th District, a harrowing incident has left a local woman traumatized and the community on high alert.
According to a police report, yesterday, the woman became the victim of a criminal sexual assault when a male intruder entered her apartment and forced her to engage in a sex act against her will.
The assailant reportedly left the victim's residence, walking northbound toward Armitage Ave.
Area Five Detectives are currently investigating the incident and have released a description of the suspect, imploring the public to aid in locating him.
The man is described as an African American individual between the ages of 20 and 30 years old, weighing between 180 and 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a green camouflage jacket with a black hood and black stripes on the left sleeve, black shorts, and black Crocs sandals.
