
On Monday, September 11th, the streets of Chicago were once again marred by gun violence as a 24-year-old woman fell victim to a nearly fatal shooting in broad daylight, according to the Chicago Police Department.
The accused shooter, identified as 24-year-old Michael Williams, was taken into police custody within 30 minutes of the heinous act and is now facing charges of attempted first-degree murder and aggravated battery/discharge firearm.
Williams is set to appear in Central Bond Court today in a bid for justice to be served to the affected young woman and her loved ones.
