According to the Chicago Police Department, the vehicle involved in the hit and run has been identified as a white 2016 Dodge Challenger (SRT HELLCAT) with a black hood.

There are three possible license plates, one of which has been rejected by the Secretary of State (SOS), but may still be in the possession of the offender. The potential license plates are DN54367, 444AB314, and the rejected FK12-WS.
