A 15-year-old boy was wounded in a late-night shooting near Volta Elementary School in Albany Park yesterday, September 20.
The incident took place at about 9:23pm, where the teenager was outside when he heard shots and suddenly felt pain, according to ABC7.
As reported by CBS News, the victim was swiftly transported to Lurie Children's Hospital in good condition, and fortunately, his injuries proved to be non-life threatening.
The authorities have yet to detain any suspects or provide any further details about the shooting, making it evident that the investigation by Area Five detectives is ongoing.
