A 14-year-old male was walking on the sidewalk in Chicago's 800 block of E. 87th St. on Saturday, September 24, when an occupant in a black sedan fired shots, striking the teen in the left hand, according to a Chicago Police Department report.
The victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, was quickly transported to the hospital by the Chicago Fire Department.
Fortunately, the young man has been reported to be in fair condition although there is no one in custody, and Area Two detectives are investigating the case as of now.
As reported by the Chicago Police Department, no arrests have been made in relation to the drive-by shooting.
