In a terrifying turn of events, an SUV crashed into a home in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, leaving three people hospitalized, including two young children.
According to CBS News, the incident took place near Millstone and Arrowwood lanes, where the vehicle smashed right through the front window of the residence.

The Rolling Meadows Police Department revealed that the female driver and her two passengers, ages 2 and 5, sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the incident.
As reported by CBS News, all three individuals were promptly taken to a local hospital for treatment. Miraculously, the homeowner was present in the house during the crash but managed to avoid any injuries.
Another tragedy was narrowly averted earlier in the day when a different vehicle in the north suburban area crashed into a house located near South Quentin Road and Silent Brook Lane, as ABC 7 Chicago reported. Although the cause of this crash remains uncertain, emergency crews could be seen evaluating the damage caused to both the house and the vehicle involved.
