A Fire Weather Watch has been issued for portions of Napa and Sonoma counties as of 11 PM on Wednesday night, extending through to 11 AM on Thursday, September 21.
The major cause for concern stems from limited overnight RH recovery and gusty northerly winds, especially in inland ranges above 1,000 feet, according to the Petaluma Fire Department.
Smoke emanating from fires in Northern California and southwestern Oregon has already been affecting the region and is expected to continue doing so through Thursday.
