On Sunday morning, September 24th, in Chicago's 5500 block of S. Union Ave., tragedy struck the city as a 24-year-old man became victim to a shooting incident.
According to the Chicago Police Department, around 10:35 a.m., two unknown male offenders approached the parked vehicle in a gray-in-color car and fired multiple shots, ultimately taking the young man's life.
The victim sustained several gunshot wounds throughout his body and was pronounced dead at the scene.
As of now, no suspects have been taken into custody, and Area One detectives are actively investigating the shooting.
