On Sunday evening, the Romeoville police performed a wellness check on the 500 block of Concord Avenue, only to discover four individuals shot to death inside a home with two of the victims being children according to the Chicago Tribune.
Police responded to the scene at approximately 8:43 p.m. and found two adults along with the children, all with gunshot wounds, the result of a yet unknown perpetrator. The investigation into this horrifying event is still in its early stages; however, it is believed that the shooting transpired early Sunday morning per an ABC7 Chicago article.
