An alarming armed robbery took place on Saturday, September 9, in Naperville. According to a Fox 32 News report, two individuals were robbed at gunpoint, their cash and cell phones taken by a masked male suspect in a display of cold-blooded criminality.
As reported by CBS News, officers responded to the scene on the 1500 block of West Ogden Avenue around 9:08 p.m. The suspect, wearing a mask and brandishing a handgun, approached both victims simultaneously and made off with an unknown amount of money and a cell phone. A dark-colored SUV was observed fleeing the scene at a high rate of speed.
The Naperville Police Department has since called upon its citizens for assistance, urging anyone with information on the masked robber to come forward. The suspect is described as a Black male, clad in black pants, a black shirt, and concealing his identity with a mask.
