The Boston Police Department has issued a missing person alert for Jaydn Betts, a 14-year-old from Roxbury, who was last seen this morning, September 21st. The Boston community has since come together in an urgent search to locate the missing teen and ensure his safe return.
According to the BPD report, Jaydn was last seen around 8:00 AM, leaving the area of Highland Street to go to the Jackson MBTA Station. He intended to take the train to Andrew's Square, from where he was supposed to walk to Upper Academy. Unfortunately, Jaydn never made it to school.
He is described as a black male, approximately 5'4, with a slim build, last seen wearing a Patriots winter hat, black jacket, dark colored pants, and black shoes. It is important to note that Jaydn suffers from mental health issues.
The police department has urged anyone with information about Jaydn's whereabouts to contact them via 911 or B-2 detectives at 617-343-4275.
