
Earlier today, a car accident rattled the lives of two young elementary school-aged children in Lynn, Massachusetts. The children were struck by a vehicle around the vicinity of 98 Holyoke Street at approximately 8:20 a.m.
Luckily, the injuries sustained by the children are not considered life-threatening. The victims, a boy and a girl, were swiftly transported to Massachusetts General Hospital for treatment, as reported by the Boston 25 News.
Although details surrounding the incident remain scarce. Officials affiliated with the Lynn Fire Department were among the first to respond to the scene, via WHDH 7News.
As the investigation continues, information about the root cause of the crash, and the events leading up to it, are yet to be disclosed.
It is also unclear whether the driver of the vehicle will face any charges for the accident that occurred, the cause is still under investigation.
