Yesterday, a 21-year-old man was reportedly slashed while he slept on the MTS Trolley near La Jolla and University City around 5:11 p.m. The unfortunate event occurred near the Nobel Drive Station, as reported by NBC San Diego. Currently, the perpetrator remains unknown and is being searched for by the police.
The victim, who entered the trolley at the 12th and Imperial transit station, fell asleep on his northbound journey. Post his sudden and violent awakening, his health condition and injury were not detailed by the police as detailed by FOX 5 San Diego. He was immediately taken to a hospital after the incident.
The suspect, as described as an adult male, is approximately 5'9" tall and was last seen in all-black clothing. Despite ongoing investigations and surveillance footage reviews, regular trolley services are running unaffected.
