
Earlier today, in Ashby, Massachusetts, a 22-year-old man from Fitchburg died in a motorcycle accident. As Boston 25 News reports, while driving southbound on Greenville Road (State Route 31) on his 2005 Suzuki Motorcycle, the young man lost control on a curve.
To quickly regain control, the motorcycle crossed the center line and veered into the northbound lane before going off the road.
MassLive indicated that the motorcyclist ended up against a tree, his motorcycle 20 feet away. Despite responders' emergency efforts, including CPR, the 22-year-old was pronounced dead at Leominster Hospital.
The Ashby Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section (CARS) Unit continue to investigate this incident.
