
Yesterday, the tranquility of a Lexington neighborhood was shattered as a young man allegedly discharged a weapon at his mother and her companion.
The 22-year-old suspect, Brent Justice Roman-Finnagan, reportedly fired shots within their home on Keeler Farm Way according to the Middlesex District Attorney's Office.
Both women, aged 57 and 55, were transported to a local hospital and remained stable as of this morning.
Following a mental health evaluation, Roman-Finnagan was detained and was charge with several offenses including armed assault with intent to murder Boston 25 News reports. The firearm utilized in the incident was found to have been procured illegally, however the motive behind the shooting remains unestablished.
Locals of Keeler Farm Way have expressed shock to Boston 25 News, citing the oddity of police presence in the ordinarily serene neighborhood.
