Jose Terra has been charged with multiple felonies relating to domestic violence by Alameda County District Attorney Pamela Price.
According to the Alameda County District Attorney's Office, Terra is up against six felony charges, including assault with a deadly weapon, battery with serious bodily injury, kidnapping, false imprisonment, and corporal injury to a partner. Along with these, Terra is charged with violating a restraining order, a misdemeanor.
District Attorney Price asserted her office's resolute stance against domestic violence in the official statement: "We have zero tolerance for domestic violence and any kind of violence in Alameda County. If you are found guilty of abusing and traumatizing a partner, you will be held accountable."
