Yesterday in Dorchester, Terrell Harris, a 29-year-old citizen of Norwood was arrested and found with a loaded firearm and narcotics, according to Boston Police Department.
Officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to reports of a person with a gun near 148 Harvard Street. They attempted to confront Harris, which caused a struggle, but he was eventually subdued. Harris was caught with a firearm following a pat frisk.
Recovered by the officers was a Ruger Security-9, loaded with one round in the chamber, along with 11 rounds in the magazine, 21 plastic bags believed to contain crack cocaine, and two additional bags allegedly carrying heroin. Harris is set to face charges including unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, resisting arrest, and possession with intent to distribute class A and class B drugs. He will be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
