An armed robbery occurred at Plympton Gas and Convenience in Plympton, Massachusetts earlier this week, wherein two employees sustained minor injuries as reported by WHDH news. The suspect, a male, committed the crime at roughly 8 p.m., brandishing what appeared to be a handgun, according to Boston.com. The two employees were physically assaulted while the man emptied the cash register, subsequently making his escape through the store's rear exit.
Following the crime, the employees were taken to a local hospital, according to WHDH. Plympton police were on the scene promptly, endeavoring to locate and apprehend the suspect involved in the robbery, as stated in a Boston.com report.
The suspect is estimated to be approximately 5'9" to 5'10" in height. He was last witnessed wearing jeans, white shoes, a black hoodie with a Reebok logo on the right shoulder, gloves and a white mask. A MassLive report indicated the police's belief that the suspect made his escape in a white or silver SUV, which was previously parked behind the store.
