On Wednesday, October 18, a 24-year-old Chicago resident named Jeffery Brooks was arrested and charged with multiple felonies in connection with an armed robbery in the 1600 block of N. Milwaukee Ave, according to the Chicago Police Department.
The charges against Brooks include armed robbery with a firearm, aggravated robbery involving a firearm, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and a citation for using a replica firearm or pellet gun.
Brooks' detention hearing is set to take place today, October 20 at 2600 S. California.
