
On October 28, Boston's Youth Violence Strike Force and the Massachusetts State Police Gang Unit apprehended 24-year-old Dorchester resident Tyreese Tennyson-Young possessing a loaded firearm during a traffic stop in Roxbury, as reported by the Boston Police Department.
The incident began when officers noticed a vehicle illegally parked in a "no stopping any time" zone, prompting them to stop it. This escalated when the occupants defied police orders, turning over in the process a loaded Glock 43, complete with an active round in the chamber and seven others in the magazine, according Boston Police Department report.
Consequently, Tennyson-Young now faces charges of unlawful firearm and ammunition possession, set for arraignment in Roxbury District Court.
