Earlier today, a stabbing incident occurred in Boston's Roxbury neighborhood, leading to the arrest of a 30-year-old man, Uwadiae Ukponmwan according to Boston Police Department. On-duty officers responded to the situation promptly, apprehending the suspect while he attempted to flee the scene.
Officers identified Ukponmwan in front of the Boston Fire Department Headquarters and, according to the Boston Police Department, found a knife hidden in his right shoe. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital with injuries deemed non-life-threatening.
Ukponmwan was charged with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon as per Boston Police Department report. His arraignment is to be held in Roxbury District Court.
