
On Tuesday, October 24, policemen in Brockton, Massachusetts, managed to prevent a potential disaster by confiscating three firearms in response to a call about a man brandishing a gun, according to the official Brockton Police. Assisted by Massachusetts State Police and their K9 units, the officers found a collection of illegal guns and ammunition in an apartment on Winthrop Street.
The suspect, 42-year-old Manuel Alves, was taken into custody, and his collection of weaponry including a .38-caliber revolver with a wiped serial number, two semi-automatic pistols, a ghost gun, and a Tec-9, was seized. Additionally, police confiscated 50 9mm bullets and two magazines filled with 12 rounds of ammunition.
Alves has been charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, Threatening to Commit a Crime, Unlawful Carrying of a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm, and Receiving a Firearm with an Obscured Serial Number.
