
On Friday, October 6th, carjacker Nathan Saben, 35, was apprehended after a days-long spree in Haverhill, Massachusetts, and Salem, New Hampshire. His arrest was a joint effort by the Massachusetts State Police, Lawrence Police, and Dracut Police departments, as disclosed on their official Facebook page. In addition to Saben, law enforcement also detained his accomplice Jessica Tirone, 40.
Saben was caught when a trooper identified a carjacked black Subaru Outback in Lawrence with Saben at the wheel and Tirone as the passenger. The authorities then pursued the duo to Dracut where Saben was arrested and a rifle was found in his possession. Their capture took place on South Union St. as noted by the Mass State Police.

Saben's cross-state crime spree was effectively halted through inter-agency cooperation, ensuring the safety of the community reported by Hoodline.
Following his arrest, Saben was charged with various offenses, including armed carjacking, failure to stop for police, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, and being a fugitive from justice. He was held overnight at Essex County House of Correction and further arraigned in Lowell District Court on October 7th, 2023.
